Jerram Foundation has established an annual bursary place within Day School’s alternative arts education programme, directly supporting artist-led initiatives within the vibrant city of Bristol.

Day School is a year-long programme designed to support artists and professional development. Established in 2021 by Jack Lewdjaw and Karanjit Panesar, to offer a meaningful response to the ongoing depletion of UK arts education provision, Day School 2025/26 will be facilitated by Natasha MacVoy.

As part of Day School the participant will have access to a shared studio space at St Anne’s House, Bristol, alongside monthly education days, creative guest visits, practice support and advice, opportunities, community projects and social occasions. This award will alleviate the financial burden of the year, enabling an artist to focus more time on their practice as they grow and develop ideas in this supportive environment.

“An inspiring, encouraging and supportive environment that is inclusive of everyone. Each session is always completely different to the last, bringing new approaches to an art practice. It has been invaluable to me.” – Day School participant.
